64% Chardonnay + 36% Viognier - Cofermentation
We cofermented and barrel aged select press fractions from certain lots of Chardonnay, and our WeatherEye Viognier blocks.
One barrel. Neutral French oak. 22 months of cellar age, and one year in bottle.
Native Fermentations. Whole Cluster Pressed. Full Malolactic. Unfined and Unfiltered.
Most of the chard comes from Freewater Rocks Vineyard in The Rocks, and the Viognier all comes from WeatherEye Vineyard. The wine is plush, lush, broad and fleshy on the palate with unctuous notes of honey, creme brulee and hints of pineapple and white flowers.
